Transcript fra Chris Squire chat på MSN 24/8-2004

Hei.

Jeg "klippet og limet" hele chat'en med Chris 24/8-2004, og siden MSN ikke har lagt den ut enda, gjør jeg det. Hilsen Lasse.

DishDiva says: Welcome to MSN Live!
DishDiva says: Chris, I understand you are about to get on a plane. Thanks for joining us.
DishDiva says: Let's get started.
MSNLive_Star says: Yes, I'm about to go to Cleveland.

KEN9721 in Onstage_1 asks: Chris, "Fish out of Water," is among my favorites. Why did your next solo project take so long?
MSNLive_Star says: Because I've been very busy with Yes and I am going to get around to it soon.

ownerofhalfabeer in Onstage_1 asks: Hi Chris! Glen from Norway here. Do you think you will be able to talk Jon into making a new album next year?
MSNLive_Star says: Yeah, we have plans for a New Year's project which will probably be a DVD as well. As it's scheduled we'll be started working on that in the new year.

SkinnyKenny4 in Onstage_1 asks: Wondered what you favorite song to play live is. I think "Silent Wings of Freedom" is awesome.
MSNLive_Star says: That's a good one, Kenny, but I think one of my favorite to play is "Heart of the Sunrise."

Lasse0286 in Onstage_1 asks: Hi Chris! What sparked you to play the bass? Do you master any other instruments?
MSNLive_Star says: The bass is my first instrument but I can play songwriter, guitar, and piano.
_-_-Al-_-_ in Onstage_1 asks: How did you like performing in Japan?

MSNLive_Star says: I loved performing in Japan, Al, we've been going there for many years and we always have a good time.
SEUBEE2112 in Onstage_1 asks: Chris…one of the most overlooked period’s in Yes history is the ‘Drama’ year…I find Drama to be one of the strongest Yes statements musically. Are there plans to include any music from that tour on the forthcoming 3CD-Live boxed set?

MSNLive_Star says: That's a very good question, because the answer is yes. A number of tracks from the Drama era, I think 4 songs, so it's well represented in the boxed set.

GØÐ_????_US_?GG in Onstage_1 asks: Who were your main influences and would you be willing to do a film about you career?
MSNLive_Star says: Are you a flimmaker?
MSNLive_Star says: My main influences, well when I started playing I was influenced by the usual suspects, Paul McCartney, Bill Wyman, Jack Bruce, and John Entwhistle.

YesCatz in Onstage_1 asks: Thank you Chris for taking the time for this interview, very sweet and considerate of you
Brian_19601 in Onstage_1 asks: Chris, where do you get your songwriting ideas - odd time signatures, etc.?
MSNLive_Star says: Just by siting down at the piano or with a guitar and working on things, Brian. It's part of the process, just working on the song.

Crystalthor1 in Onstage_1 asks: What is your secret to longevity?
MSNLive_Star says: Vitamins. (laughs)

_-_-Al-_-_ in Onstage_1 asks: Hey Chris, Alex from Michigan here, My parents are yesworld members and they went to your 35 year concert here in Michigan, Will you come back again? I would love to see you in concert for the first time.
MSNLive_Star says: Yeah, I think we are playing in Michigan quite soon. I'm not sure exactly where, go to ourwebite and there will be information there.

WWYJr in Onstage_1 asks: There was talk about touring with the Dead recently. Steve did work with Annie Haslam. Any thoughts of Yes collaborations? Yes and Renaissane would be wonderful.
MSNLive_Star says: Nothing immediate at the moment, we're just finishing up this American leg and then we're going to get ready for that new recording.
MSNLive_Star says: Hope to see you at a venue near your home soon. Come and see us on our American leg of the tour, and peace to everyone.
